Spectrum of colors

Lovely autumn colors are finally here! I have wishes to go and collect some nice leaves for craft things during the coming weekend. For those of you who have checked Instagram you may have seen few captions from Finnish forest from the previous weekend. I was hunting mushrooms for a pie which I must say turned out so good (my first time!) that there was hardly a piece left on the next morning.

Junia, my little forest sprite, the guardian of a hidden forest fall, finally got

SAMSUNG CSCa new dress for herself. This was rather to test a new pattern than to have a specific idea but I like the outcome. Since the first dress was off-white lace dress I wanted something darker with few details. The lovely fabric has been previously brought from China by my dear friend. There are still few pieces left to make lovely little things. =^^=

Overall I like the mini gem/faery size from Soom. Delicate, tiny and beautiful. Otherwise quite a tricky one to find clothing / wigs / eyes for though!

Moreover, I am happy to start off a commission work during the weekend. This relates to an animation I am myself a fan of so I suppose it will spark my inspiration for the whole process. Completing this commission will be my priority for the next few weeks.

Halloween is coming too. It is one of my favorite seasonal celebrations but despite this fact I have been unable to complete anything suitable to the theme during these last two years. This year, provided I have enough time I plan to complete a set for Pullips / Pureneemos just in time for Halloween. Looking forward to it even myself!

So as the seasons turn towards the coming winter I notice my time to be somewhat limited. I must confess I haven’t been able to keep up with one post per week so my next statement and objective is to post at least one post per month. Therefore there may be more or there might not be more but at least this one per month. I have been satisfied with the regular monthly schedule so sticking with it as a basis seems like a good idea.

Lune has found her style, more or less, and seems to hang out around my many books.

(Mid)summer time

Hello hello! ~

SAM_6306

After a little bit cold Midsummer in Central Finland I have returned with some sales items. I was able to catch up with some of my old stuffs – pullip / blythe sized food things and some barbie furniture which I have been meaning to take photos of to post them up for sale. Fully equipped kitchen set, some random food supplies, bed with linen and so on. Further details still need to be sorted out for sales. Perfect for your Pullip kitchen plan?Papillon de nuit there as a size comparison ~

I have also mentioned few unfinished project dresses. Finally they have been completed and now up on Etsy.

First is the Pullip / pureneemo / Blythe sized turquoise summer dress. Paper flower details, tulle, lace and pearls. Base dress is made out of satine like turquoise fabric.

Next one is layered dress for Pullips (and will also fit Blythe / pureneemo). The dress has three parts, lace under top, tulle upper skirt with japanese fabric decorative waist part and light beige lace under skirt. The dress will come with a flower headband. Perfect for the lovely summer.

Turquoise summer dress and layered dress are both now on Etsy.

With this lovely summer day I took Chai Latte outside and updated some Etsy pictures.

Tsukifly spring updates

SAM_5009

With the lovely sunshine over the weekend mornings I ventured out of the bed early to have a photoshoot with Freya. Some of the Tsukifly creations got updated pictures. Like the above Black/Gold framed dress.

I have kept mentioning this walolita outfit in some of my previous posts and finally, here it is. It is a 5 piece outfit set with japanese red bunny fabric kimono styled bolero, pleated red upper skirt, white lace under skirt, bow tie obi and a flower headdress. A great outfit set for the coming summer time with cute little details. Sleeves are elbow length in traditional kimono style. Find the outfit set from Etsy: Red Walolita outfit.

I was inspired to try out the making of panties. So a complete set for Lillycat was created. The white corset style top was already on offer alone but I thought it needed the panties to complement it. Now I am happy with the outcome. Check the updated listing here: Lillycat white underwear set.

Previously I took the picture with Lunetta showing off the winter style by Tsukifly. The Duffle coat was part of the set but not yet available through Etsy. I assure you this cute and fluffy duffle will be available shortly. Some of the pictures still need to be resized.

On the pages of a magazine

SAMSUNG CSCIts lovely how the sunshine seems to wake you up from the long slumber of the dark winter. It feels like you can do so much more with the light around. It is different to take photos with natural light than to try to figure out how to make it work with artificial means.

I wanted to change the outlook of the blog and now that it is done I see I am in dire need of new pictures. Both for Tsukifly purposes but also for the fun of it. So I made it my (yet) another project to take some new picture material.

Above you see Tsukifly clothes on Lunetta (Souldoll Aehael) in magazine style. This is why one of the Etsy sections is called Mix & Match because generally all the pieces go rather well together. So this is one example of that. In the picture there are four Tsukifly pieces pictured: Little Miss Polka dot dress, A pair of white legwarmers, An MSD Duffle coat and knitted wool hat. As for the duffle coat I am still finishing info, pictures and other details. A glimpse of that nicely with other items.

I was also pleased to receive a review and feedback regarding Tsukifly items. Thank you ~
