Or can I call this a recap while this December is only half way through?
It has been a productive month. There are changes in my personal life so there has been some extra time to use for sewing projects. So happy about that fact. I also feel that while it has been somewhat quiet for quite a while when I speak about dolly plans I have also lots going on there. Plans, story updates, style updates. Dolly hobby is periodic at present.
Not too many flattering pictures of Unoa Elder girls in Google picture search. Apparently enough to hook me though. Not that Google was ever the sole place to look for dolly pictures. I have had this little plan of Ange for quite a while now. And my wishes had been heard! Now I have one on layaway. Her name will be Yuiko (thoughtful child) and she is an apprentice witch. Initial plan is to make her something colorful yet dark while her wig will be pastel cute. However, it would not be the first time when a doll turns into something completely different once she arrives so I cannot say for sure. Let’s wait and see. She is scheduled to come around in Spring ~
Then Tsukifly updates.
Starting with two Vintage cardigans in SD and DD sizes, made out of lovely vintage knitted fabric with vintage lace details. I am pleased with the outcome and they are a great addition with any Tsukifly dress as well.
Second in line is a one-piece vintage time keeper dress for SD. I have had “raw” sketch of this dress on a mannequin for ages. It really has taken way too long to complete but I am pleased how it turned out. A combo of embroidered off-white lace, light blue taffeta, brown polka dot fabric and vintage laces and bow ties. A clock necklace will be included with the dress.
Last but not least on the list are probably my personal favorites of the month. Diamond deer flower headbands. This patch on Etsy includes 2 tiny/slim mini sized, 2 MSD/Lillycat sized and 1 bigger Pullip / SD / Blythe sized headdresses. They are so cute and delicate. I just need more paper flowers for any future plans, these ate my last ones on storage.
*Update* Tsukifly Custom Pullip Akiko
I felt the candy set didn’t quite match with Akiko so I completed a better suited outfit set to go with her. With fully and lively Japanese themed dress and accessories she would be an an unique addition to any Pullip family. Find the updated listing here.
So to recap, a lot of new updates, additions and great fun in making all of these. Thank you everyone for your continuing support!
I must also make a small note on one of my lovely buyers who was kind enough to send me a picture of her doll wearing a Tsukifly coat bought through Etsy shop. The styling in the picture was wintery and receiving it really made my day. Thank you!
I believe that is almost everything for now. Next wee I will travel towards North for Christmas and I have pretty strong feeling no new blog entries will be made for this year. Please do keep an eye on Instagram as I am more likely to update few Christmas theme pictures around there ~
