Barely. I am awfully aware that this post has taken me longer than I had planned. But then, it just means I have much more to catch up. I should really write more so I would not have such a long monthly updates. Which way you prefer?
I have neglected my own dollies for quite a while. Every new outfit piece seems to be not for them but something I had in mind for Etsy. I should fix my priorities. But! To say at least, everyone finally got their stands, everyone has a body so sharing has ended and I have been proceeding with those blushings as well. I suppose Tori, my first MSD girl (DM Cherry Dream Torrie) would need blushing and my darling Aya (CP Soo Dark Elf) as well but I am kinda thorn what to do with their yellowness, but then, both of them have been with me 10 years more or less. That is how it goes. So both of my older girls are up for some work next. Although I will not say anything of the timeline.
I have still completed some projects. Riri (Pureneemo Aika) got a prototype of a shirt. I am working on the pattern my seamstress friend helped me to make. (Thank you again for your time!) Now I need to test some different fabrics. For now I am just happy Riri has something to wear. The skirt was made using Tsukifly pattern with some further additions like the hem decorations and layer of tulle. Additionally Yuiko got a bra top made out of elastic lace. Pretty, and can be used under clothes as well. Maybe I should consider making these on Etsy as well? This size is suitable for Unoa/Minifee sized dolls.
Then, last time I mentioned I was working on a new custom. So a new Tsukifly Pullip Custom Caramella is currently on Etsy.
I am happy with her face-up and especially love the eyelids (you can see a delicate light violet lace there). Her outfit also turned out nicely. The theme being candyish white & pink. The outfit set consists of the dress, checkered socks and light rose tulle skirt. She will come with the Bukowski teddy bear (it has tiny wings and little pink bowtie). Her name ‘Caramella’ translates as candy in Italian.
Would you like to adopt this cute girl? Take a look at Tsukifly Etsy.
Overall I have focused on commissions more than new items what comes to this month. Thank you everyone who commissioned me! I hope you like your items. I had extra fun completing Dust of Dolls and Blythe sized commissions.
Then we have this Yo-SD Kimono yukata. Model is Mili (Soom Picro), newest addition in the doll family. This pattern was originally drawn back in 2013. I managed to find it and try out it again. There was one Yo-SD kimono yukata completed all those years ago, this is the second one. I rather like the colors of it. Take a further look on Etsy. The set consists of the kimono yukata, obi, kimono fabric ribbon and the headpiece.
Finally, this will be mentioned in next month’s additions on Etsy but since I am posting this blog update almost in October, I am adding this here.
As I was working on one of the commissions I also wanted to try out this fabric. So this outfit was produced as a side quest. It consists of two pieces, a top and a pair of bloomers. Just now added the outfit on Etsy. It is in Dust of Dolls size.
So I think that is almost everything I needed to catch up on. For those who might be waiting to see the sale post I mentioned last time. I am still working on it. In the meantime please check my DoA sale threads (ID Tsuki) and my Instagram account (tsukifly) for sale pictures. I haven’t forgotten, I just have lots of stuff to go through.
Thanks for reading!
